Advanced Fax Routing

Biscom’s hosted fax services support Advanced Fax Routing, Biscom’s rules-based workflow application. Advanced Fax Routing provides an extensive set of features for processing and delivering received faxes. Faxes can be automatically routed based on the number dialed, the date and time it was sent or via specific text in the fax that’s been extracted via optical character recognition (OCR). You can also use any of this data to perform a database lookup and then route the fax based on those results (i.e., search a fax for a customer ID and then route to the account manager responsible for that customer).

With Advanced Fax Routing you can:

• Split multi-page faxes into multiple deliveries
• Redirect faxes when the recipient is out-of-office
• Deliver the original fax image as well as additional extracted data in CSV or XML format
• Query a network resource for additional data and/or other delivery instructions
